More about Greg Pammer...

Personal

I recently reside in Northampton, PA. I am originally from Whitehall, PA which is a little north of Allentown. I have 2 brothers: an older brother and a fraternal twin that actually developed most of this website (where-as I designed it). I was recently on the track & field team at ESU where I ran the 200m, 400m, and 4x400m relay. I am the record holder on the the relay team indoors and outdoors. You can find my stats and up-to-date news about sports on the ESU Warriors website. In High School, I was a 3 sport athlete. I played football, basketball, and of course ran track & field. I was a quarterback and free safety for my football team where I had a successful 4 years playing. In basketball, I was the shooting guard where I developed a love for the game. In track & field, I excelled the most. Through track I have met very good friends and I am glad that I have done an extracurricular activity and proud to say that I am a student-athlete.

Education

I graduated high school at Whitehall High School with an outstanding GPA. I followed up on high school and went to college at East Stroudsburg University. I attended there firstly to become a Computer Science major; however, after the first year I realized that I was more interested in Media and Design. This is when I switched majors to Media Communications & Technology. I am very glad I have done so because I enjoy every class that I partake in and love each teacher that I have encountered. The institute has helped me evolve as a person and as a part of the community.

Achievements

I have achieved a lot of different things throughout my lifetime. Non-school related achievements include: placing in the top 3 in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay my high school year of track and field and winning the 400m at leagues. Also making it to PA States for the 200m and 400m my senior year. Setting the 4x400m record multiple times at East Stroudsburg University. These are just a few achievements I have made through my athletic career. My most awarding and satisfying achievement would be from the classroom, where in my junior year at ESU I recieved the Faculty Media Communication & Technology Scholarship which is only awarded twice per year. Another great achievement was when my entire class competed for a poster design for an ESU play and the director chose mine as the winner and would be displayed throughout the campus to advertise the event. Another achievement ties into both athletics and academics. I have receieved an Academic All-American award where I was a provisonal quality for track to nationals and maintain a GPA over 3.25. All of these Achievements are a great reminder of what I am capable of when I set my mind to something.

Career Goals

I aspire to obtain a position as a Graphic Designer or Video Editor utilizing my skills in design, illustration, typography, page layout and advertising, as well as skills in video, editing, and post-production. I am a goal oriented person through every aspect of my life. I try to achieve to the best of my ability by putting forth full effort day in and day out. I finish work fully and to the best of my ability in a time efficient manner. With being a student-athlete, I understand the complexities of a highly stressful day and I put forth my best effort in succeeding both academically and competitively. I am a sincere and dedicated individual with great ambition to excel with my work. I love to learn and am always up for any obstacle or challenge that I may face. I seek a position where I can develop as a person while giving my best overall performance to an employer.
